Happy Birthday, Zooey Deschanel!

Unless you’ve been living under a rock—or screening which posts you read—you’re well-aware by now that I’ve got a big ole crush on the lovely Zooey Deschanel.

Last month I gave a big ole birthday shout-out to Taylor Swift—another member of the BSBP Celebrity Crush list—and given the ongoing feud between Taylor and Zooey it seems only right that I make sure they get equal treatment in this regard to avoid any conspiracy theories about me favoring one lovely lass over the other.

Now, much like Taylor a month ago, Zooey isn’t in any big need of adulation or well-wishes from me as is pretty much sitting on top of the world with or without my birthday wishes.

Let’s take a peek at just a few of the reasons why that is:

– She’s absolutely gorgeous and is widely-revered as one of the most stylish people in showbiz today.

– She’s been on a great run of awesome movies that includes two movies I totally loved “500 Days of Summer” and “Our Idiot Brother.”

– She is kicking out awesome music as part of the musical duo She and Him.

– She was just at the Golden Globe awards on Sunday night where she was nominated for Best Actress in a Comedy for her show New Girl.

Admittedly, I’ve gone back and forth regarding her show, but overall it has grown on me.

Needless to say she is totally awesome and I just want to wish a big ole happy 32nd birthday to Zooey Deschanel!!
