Buy Me Things

I’ll start this one off by making one very simple, very clear point: if you’re not reading The Oatmeal on a regular basis, you’re a terrorist.

That’s right, if you don’t read The Oatmeal, you hate America…and apple pie…and baseball…and kittens…and all of those other things that are super American.

Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, let’s go ahead and dive right into what y’all should be rushing out to buy me this time around…this:

At first glance, this appears to be just your standard, run-of-the-mill poster featuring two cats chillin’ at home whilst enjoying the finest spirits available and enjoying a pipe, like any classy fella would do on a Saturday evening.

If, however, you’ve followed The Oatmeal, you’re well-aware that the two cats in question are, in fact, The Bobcats.

The Bobcats are two cats named Bob who work in an office. I know what you’re thinking, animal characters in an office, big whoopty-doo, we’ve seen that like four bajillionty times before.

Here’s the kicker, although they’re powerful business men, they don’t act like regular business people. No, no…they act like, well, cats. This is what makes them f’n hilarious.

For example:

So here’s your checklist for the rest of the afternoon:

1) Head over to The Oatmeal.
2) Read EVERYTHING.
3a) Laugh hysterically.
3b) Pee a little. (optional, but likely inevitable)
4) Immediately realize that my birthday is exactly one month away.
5) Buy me The Bobcats poster.

That sounds like a pretty solid afternoon, y’all.

I’m going to let you get crackin’ on all that.
