The One Where I Respectfully Disagree with Anne Hathaway

Now I’m not going to lie and pretend I know anything about the whole Occupy Wall Street thing that’s going on.

If you’ve read this blog more than once, you know that I’m a horrible journalism major and I pay zero attention to the news and/or what’s going on in the world.

I don’t know what this Occupy thing is all about in the slightest. It could be about banks. It could be about New Coke. It could be about the quasi-kinda-sorta-but-not-really-cancelation of Community.

All I know is that I’m, like, 86% sure it has gone on longer than Kim Kardashian’s “marriage” and it has been just as interesting to me (read: not at all).

It does, however, seem to be drawing in celebrities like moths to the flame…apparently one such celebrity is Catwoman herself, Anne Hathaway.

According to the Tweet from the chica who snapped the picture, Anne’s sign reads “Blackboards Not Bullets.”

Like I said, I don’t really have any idea what’s going on with the whole Occupy movement, but I gott ask…are those really the only two choices?

Like, seriously, is it just down to “blackboards” or “bullets” for options?

If so, what for? Will one of them be our currency going forward?

Is that why she’s bringing this to Wall Street? Are they in charge of choosing between the blackboards and the bullets?

Personally, I guess I’d choose bullets, because they’re drastically more portable than blackboards and I assume the exchange rate would be easier to work out.
