Mitt Romney’s New Campaign Theme Song is Fantastic

Barack Obama may have the backing of famous crooners like Beyonce, Stevie Wonder, and Bruce Springsteen, but Mitt Romney has something he doesn’t.

What’s that you ask, My Faithful Readers?!

Romney has a self-proclaimed prophet—and certified lunatic—in William Tapley.

That’s right, y’all, a self-proclaimed prophet! Or at least that’s what it says on his YouTube page:

“I do not hear voices, but sometimes God gives prophecy to me by a revelation which I know comes not from my own thoughts but outside my mind.”

Tapley has graciously submitted this song, entitled “Mitt Romney, A Hero In My Mind” to be the new theme for Romney’s campaign.

I know that Romney was looking to use Kid Rock’s “Born Free,” but this definitely seems like a way better choice.

Granted, this song is a little more anti-Obama than pro-Romney, but it is possible Tapley had nothing to do with that…I mean so far there has been no official confirmation if he wrote the lyrics himself or if they came about in a revelation which was not from his own thoughts, but outside his mind.

Totally bad-ass music video notwithstanding, I’m holding strong in my resolve to not vote for Romney.

I’m sure that sucks for Mitt, but I’ll be damned if this little ditty isn’t gonna go viral in the next 24 hours and that figures to boost his spirits, right?!
