Taylor Swift Invited Me Over for Thanksgiving (More or Less)

A couple of weeks back, I posted about the obvious turf war going on between Zooey Deschanel and Taylor Swift as the two jockey for the rights to my heart.

Well, ladies and gents, Taylor threw down something fierce today when she decided to play to my feline-related weakness yet again.

She knows that Zooey is a dog person and she’s totally flaunting her fondness for felines.

She’s totally showcasing how good she is with cats knowing that it will win me over.

It’s like back in school when your significant other invited you over when they were babysitting to show off what a good parent they’d be. Yet, at the same time they were secretly watching you to see if you may accidentally feed the kid thumbtacks or make it use the litter box or something.

It’s a crafty play, no doubt about it. Taylor wants me to see how well things are going since she adopted Meredith.

This video is practically an invite for me to come hang out at her place over the holidays and give cat-sitting a whirl so she can see if I’m ready to take this thing to the next level…dual-ownership of a pet.

You’re a wild-card, Swift, but I like that about you.
