Cheeseburger Chronicles #058

Thursdays in the spring/summer are softball days. As such, I often find myself off in search of a super-charged lunch to give me the protein burst—and/or simply not give me the poos—that I need to have an awesome game of softball.

On this particular May afternoon, I meandered up toward Central Square, completely unaware that my most highly-regarded burger joint was about to exceed the already lofty expectations that it had set for itself with numerous kick-ass burgers.

Cheeseburger #058

What: Cheeseburger

When: May 27, 2010

Where: Four Burgers

How (was it): I can honestly say—without a doubt—that this is the best burger I have ever had at Four Burgers. I wasn’t sure what was so different, so I asked the owner dude what was up and he said that they were trying to make their burgers “smash style” that day during lunch just to try it out.

It was awesome. The burger had a crispy, crunchy, salty crust and was super juicy and awesome on the inside. It was cooked to a perfect medium and the crust held in all of the juices and flavors of the burger.

It was simply amazing.
